The Hateborn Sea Quest Walkthrough: Diablo 4

Despite the Drowned pushing their attacks on several areas in the region, what remains of the Amazon warriors has now been rallied.

After a final push against the Downed in the Zerae Amphitheater, it’s time to meet back at the Athulua Garrison to regroup.

With Tharra and the other Amazons preparing to join the assault on the Foundering Caverns, it’s time to fight your way to the entrance to begin the search for the second piece of the blade.

How To Get The Hateborn Sea Quest?

The Hateborn Sea quest begins after the completion of The Queen’s Castaways quest, which is where you last fought the Drowned in the Zerae Amphitheater.

Rushing into the Zerae Marina allowed you to save several Amazon sisters, who will now join you in the battle against the Drowned.

The Hateborn Sea Walkthrough

Make your way back to the Athulua Garrison once the quest begins and speak with Lorath and later Tharra, who will talk about the attack on the Foundering Caverns.

Travel to Myssena after the conversation with them, and you will find Drowned forces, which require you to fight through them along with the Amazons. (Location will be marked)

Once you reach Myssena, destroy the Seaborn Shrine in the area and clear out the remaining Drowned before moving on.

Continue pushing forward with your group until you reach the next Seaborn Shrine, which you will also have to destroy, as well as clear the rest of the Drowned.

Make your way to the last Seaborn Shrine and destroy it while also clearing any Drowned that remain in the area.

Once all the Drowned have been cleared out, the group will make their way to the entrance of the Foundering Caverns, and the quest will be complete.

The Hateborn Sea Quest Rewards

After destroying the last Seaborn Shrine and clearing out the Drowned, The Hateborn Sea quest will be complete, and a new quest called Breaking the Storm will begin.

In addition to the next quest being unlocked, you also receive:

  • XP
  • Gold

Verdict

With the assault finally underway, you successfully cleared a path alongside the Amazons and eliminated the Drowned forces blocking the route to the Foundering Caverns.

Destroying the Seaborn Shrines weakened the enemy presence in the area, allowing the surviving Amazons to safely advance toward their next objective.

Now that the path has been secured, it is time to push deeper into the Foundering Caverns and continue the search for the second piece of the blade.
