The Tenets of Depravity Questline is a collection of 4 quests involving the investigation of a knight named Kharov who has turned to the worst after the battle in hell.
This questline is one of the requirements for completing the Deeds of a Hero quest, which introduces players to the endgame mechanics in the Vessel of Hatred Expansion.
Throughout the events of the questline, you will be traveling around Nahantu and will eventually have to face the knight who seems to have lost it all, including his mind.
Tenets of Depravity Quest Location
The Tenets of Depravity Quest may be started in Nahantu and this may be done by speaking to the Guard near the Wounded Survivor in Kurast.
Completing each quest will allow you to proceed to the next quest until you reach the final one, which is Tenets of Depravity: Scion of Blasphemies.

Tenets of Depravity: Sacrament of the Faithless
You find a Wounded Survivor in Kurast who reveals that a Burned Night camp is in at the Seven Stones, and you proceed to investigate.
Upon finding and speaking to Priest Dmitriy, you will have to slay a Berserk Knight and speak with him again before picking up the Account of Captain Kharov’s Madness on a table.
This will now lead you to Kehjistan, where you will end up finding Reverend Mother Prava, who sends you back to Faith’s Torch to find Dmitriy.

Tenets of Depravity: An End To Suffering
After bringing the Account of Captain Kharov’s Madness to Reverend Mother Prava, she has sent you back to Faith’s Torch to get assistance from Dmitriy.
You head back to the camp but find no sign of Priest Dmitriy but upon inspecting the corpse of a knight, you hear screaming from the Knight Command Quarter and investigate.
Upon entering the quarter, you find Priest Dmitriy tied up and will have to confront and kill the Burned Knights but Dmitriy is set on fire as this happens.
Dmitriy’s mentions with his last breath that you should find Marzhan at the Seared Revelation camp to find a way to Kharov.

Tenets of Depravity: Companion to Madness
Dmitriy’s last words were to find a man named Marzhan and you will make your way to the Seared Revelation camp to speak with him.
Marzhan agrees to help you out, but you first need to defeat enemies nearby in the “Pit” before he accompanies you, which puts you through fighting multiple enemies.
The last enemy that you face in the Pit will be a Hateful Abomination and once you have slain the monster, you will need to speak with Scribe Marzhan.

Tenets of Depravity: Scion of Blasphemy
Marzhan the Scribe will meet you at the Temple of the Profane and you will need to travel there and speak to him before entering.
Once inside the Temple of the Profane, you will need to slay Kharov’s Lieutenants and take their Condemned Trophies to reach each next area.
There will be 3 Lieutenants, and you will need to defeat them and take their Condemned Trophy to a temple gate.
Behind each temple gate will be a Chamber of Slaughter, which you will need to survive before moving on.
After getting past the last lieutenant, take their Condemned Trophy and proceed with unlocking the next area where you will find Captain Kharov.
Approaching Captain Kharov will result in Marzhan being killed and afterward, you will need to slay Kharov to complete the quest.

Tenets of Depravity Questline Rewards
Completing the first 3 quests of the Tenets of Depravity Questline will reward you with XP and Gold while the final quest yields more rewards.
Once Captain Kharov has been slain, you will be rewarded with XP, Gold, and Murmuring Obols along with various equipment.
Upon completion of the Tenets of Depravity: Scion of Blasphemies, we were able to obtain a magic, rare, and legendary piece of equipment.
Verdict
The eternal conflict that Captain Kharov fought which ended in the death of Inarius was too much to bear and he had lost his mind.
With his faith lost Reverend Mother Prava was sad to see him turn to another side, which is why she sent Dmitriy.
So many lives were lost but in the end, Captain Kharov and his mindless lieutenants have now finally been put to rest.
