The Spiritcaller of Squalls is a powerful Vile Shaman that can be found lurking inside a cave known as the Wretched Delve.
This Shaman tends to bounce projectiles off his totems, which can do an insane amount of damage if you are standing in a bad place.
Just like any other Vile Shamen, the Spiritcaller of Squalls will summon other Vile enemies to aid it in battle which can be a bit annoying sometimes.
Spiritcaller of Squalls Location
You may encounter the Spiritcaller of Squalls in the following dungeons, which allow you to unlock an Aspect when completed:
- Whispering Pines (Highland Wilds, Scosglen)
- Wretched Delve (Tur Dulra, Scosglen)
Spiritcaller of Squalls Fight (Attacks)
The Spiritcaller of Squalls will try to hit you with his split projectiles which he may bounce off his Ricochet Totems as he summons Vile minions to attack you.
1) Split Firebolt
The Spiritcaller of Squalls fires out 3 projectiles that spread outward, dealing damage based on how many projectiles hit you. (This is easily avoided by moving or evading)
2) Firebolt Totem
This causes the Spiritcaller of Squalls to place down a totem that will shoot split Firebolts, causing more projectiles to come from the totem. (Move away or you can get hit by multiple projectiles)
3) Summon Vile Minions
The Spiritcaller of Squalls summons Vile minions to assist him and will chase after you and attack you during the fight.
Spiritcaller of Squalls Strategy
The Spiritcaller of Squalls is easy to beat as you simply need to dodge its attacks, keep away from his totems, and kill the Vile minions that he summons.
You can continue to attack him when there are no totems nearby and move away to lure him when there are too many around you.
If he summons minions, it’s best to deal with them quickly while attacking him with any area of effective skills that you have.
Spiritcaller of Squalls Drops
Once killed, the Spiritcaller of Squalls will drop random loot that can be around 1 – 3 different items along with Gold.
Additionally, once you defeat the Spiritcaller of Squalls, you will get one of these aspects depending on which dungeon you defeat him in:
- Ballistic Aspect (Whispering Pines)
- Aspect of Static Cling (Wretched Delve)
