How To Change Difficulty?
To change the difficulty, head to any of the statues that are marked on your map with the “Select Difficulty” icon.
One of the most popular places to do this would be in Kyovoshad but there are other places as well such as in Cerrigar or the Kurast Bazaar.
Verdict
When starting, it is often recommended to be on Normal or Hard so that you can quickly progress and gain some levels to become stronger before moving up.
For those who can handle higher difficulties, resorting to them early on will allow you to progress a bit faster and get better gear but this can later be difficult if you are not ready.
Hitting at least Torment I as soon as possible is the best thing to do as everything exciting in the game often begins from this point.
