The Battle Pass has changed, and the current one comes in the form of one of the Reliquaries available during the season.

How To Get Season 8 Reliquary Rewards?
To get the Season 8 Reliquary Rewards, you will need to first obtain Favor Tokens as these are spent on Cosmetic Items in each of the Reliquaries.
The first Reliquary (Battle Pass Reliquary) will be unlocked for free, and this allows you to purchase any of the Cosmetic Items available in the collection.
Premium Battle Pass Reliquaries require that you spend a certain amount of Platinum to unlock them, which allows you to purchase Cosmetic Items from them.
Verdict
Cosmetic Items that you obtain from the Battle Pass Reliquaries are permanent and will be available for your characters to use in any season.
If you plan on purchasing the Premium Battle Pass Reliquaries, it would be a good idea to make sure to grind Favor Tokens and purchase everything available.
Once you have enough Favor Tokens to make a purchase, be sure to buy the Cosmetic Items that you want before the end of the season.
