You have previously removed a slain demon from the Ore Hoist’s mechanism, allowing you and your companions to exit the caverns later.
The search continues as your group is now on Lilith’s trail, but you will still need to find where she and Neyrelle’s mother are located.
It looks like you will finally stumble upon the Knights who have gone missing and discover what happened to them.
How To Get In Her Wake Quest?
Following shortly after you have completed the quest called Below, you will immediately receive In Her Wake quest, continuing your search within the caverns.
In Her Wake Quest Objectives
1) Speak with Vigo
Before you and the group proceed, you will need to speak to Vigo who will claim that you need reinforcements when suddenly you hear a voice.
2) Open the Gate of Kasama
The voice seems to be coming from beyond a nearby gate and you will need to open it by interacting with it.
3) Speak with Grendan
In the next area, you will find the Knights that went missing and they appear to have been slaughtered but one of them is still grasping for his life.
You will need to speak to Grendan, who reveals that it was one of the women that Vigo had sent which seems to be Lilith.
4) Search for Lilith and Vhenard with Neyrelle
The group will need to continue their search and you will need to lead them to the location marked on your map, which eventually leads you to a symbol with Blood Petals.
5) Inspect Lilith’s Blood Petals
Once you find the Blood Petals, you will need to interact with them which will begin a cutscene where you witness a vision of Lilith speaking to Vhenard.
6) Open the Ancient Gate
After witnessing the conversation that has taken place between Lilith and Vhenard, you will need to open the Ancient Gate that is nearby. (Marked on your map)
7) Search for a way deeper into Kasama
Once the gate has been opened, you will need to fight your way through several demons and continue making your way to the next marker.
This eventually leads you to more demons and later you will need to climb down to reach the lower level of Kasama.
8) Open the Gate of the Cradle
As you continue your way through the area, you will arrive at the Gate of the Cradle, which needs to be interacted with to open.
After you have opened the gate, a path to a location called Cradle will be available and the quest will be complete.
In Her Wake Rewards
After opening the gate to the Cradle, the quest will be complete and you will be rewarded with XP and Gold that scales with your current character level.
Verdict
As your group went deeper into the caverns, you discovered a location known as Kasama where you found the missing Knights.
The Knights had been slaughtered by Lilith, who seems to have disguised herself, leaving a certain Grendan in a dying state.
Your group has arrived at the entrance to the Cradle and it looks like you are getting nearer to finding the answers to what is happening.
