Decompose is one of the Necromancer’s Basic Skills that provides them with corpses as well as the ability to gain extra essence.
With the Flesh Rending Aspect, Necromancers can get even more essence whenever Decompose creates a corpse, providing them with the ability to cast more skills.
This becomes extremely useful when you focus on using Decompose to generate Essence for your other skills based on what build you are using.
Flesh Rending Aspect Effects (Decompose Aspect)
With the Flesh Rending Aspect imprinted on one of your equipped items, you gain a certain amount of Essence whenever an enemy has been killed.
This will allow you to generate more Essence for the skills that you need to cast aside from the corpses that you can make use of.
By being able to gain more Essence over time, you can quickly unleash your other skills regardless of high Essence costs.
Flesh Rending Aspect Location
The Flesh-Rending Aspect becomes unlocked once you have completed the Nostrava Deepwood Dungeon, which can be found in the Pallid Glave north of Nostrava. (Fractured Peaks)
How To Get Flesh Rending Aspect ?(Nostrava Deepwood Walkthrough)
1) Slay all enemies in the Wild Thicket
You will be starting out in the Wild Thicket once you enter the Nostrava Darkwood and will need to slay all the enemies present in the area.
Their locations will appear on your map as red dots so you can find them easily within the area of the Wild Thickets.
2) Travel to Treebones Glade
Once you have cleared out all the enemies in the Wild Thicket, you will need to continue making your way to the next area called Treebones Glade.
As you make your way to Treebones Glade, you may encounter an additional objective before you can continue. (We had to destroy a Skeletal Construct)
3) Slay the Treebones
After reaching Treebones Glade, you will need to search for 3 Treebones (Elite Skeletons) in the area and slay all of them to complete the dungeon.
Verdict
Essence is one of the main things that drag a Necromancer down, preventing them from using their other skills when in battle.
With the addition of Flesh-Rending Aspect, you can solve this issue and gain a ton of Essence by combining this with other passives.
Flesh-Rending Aspect is a choice for certain Necromancer Corpse Explosion Builds since the ability relies heavily on corpses while the extra Essence can be used for other skills.
