A letter has been left for you, and it turns out it has been sent from Tyrael, who has heard about a certain Death Cult that is spreading a gospel of despair.
He has instructed you to make your way to Zarbinzet and learn what you can about this cult and perhaps intervene if possible.
How To Get A Gospel of Despair Quest?
A Gospel of Despair will be the first seasonal quest that is available when you create a new character in Season 14, the Season of Death Awakened.
You will need to make your way to Kyovashad first to read the letter before proceeding with traveling to Zarbinzet.
A Gospel of Despair Walkthrough
Since new characters will start in Kyovashad, the letter will be near the Waypoint in the town, which you will need to interact with.
After opening the letter, you may fast travel to Zarbinzet and will need to speak with a person named Dannica, who begins to ramble about what she has found out.
Dannica will give you the “Message of the Ullo Sar,” and this needs to be picked up before speaking to her again regarding what you have just read.
She continues to talk about what she found out and afterward suggests that you go find out more, which concludes the quest.
A Gospel of Despair Quest Rewards
After speaking to Dannica about the strange events that she has witnessed, “A Gospel of Despair” will be complete, and you will receive the “Sins of the Ullo Sar” seasonal quest.
