Destiny 2 Season of the Deep Artifact Mods & Bonus Levels

Season of the Deep Artifact (NPA Repulsion Regulator)

Gaining a level with your NPA Repulsion Regulator will provide you with points, which you can later spend on mods when viewing the artifact.

This allows you to obtain mods that will be beneficial as you progress through the season, especially when it comes to mods needed to defeat powerful combatants.

At the end of the season, these will all disappear and you will need to start again with a new artifact with its own set of mods.

Tier 1

  • Anti-Barrier Auto Rifle – Equipped Auto-Rifles fire shield-piercing rounds and stun Barrier Champions.
  • Unstoppable Hand Cannon – Aiming down the sights with Hand Cannon loads an explosive payload that stuns unshielded combatants. (Strong vs Unstoppable Champions)
  • Overload Scout Rifle – Consecutive hits with Scout Rifles cause disruptions, delaying ability energy regeneration and lowering damage output. (Strong vs Overload Champions)
  • Overload Trace Rifles – Uninterrupted fire from Trace Rifles stuns combatants, delaying ability energy regeneration and lowering their damage output. (Strong vs Overload Champions)
  • Unstoppable Glaive – Glaives fire a powerful explosive payload that stuns unshielded combatants. (Strong against Unstoppable Champions)

Tier 2

  • Authorized Mods: Arc – Armor energy costs of all Arc armor mods are discounted.
  • Authorized Mods: Void – Armor energy costs of all Void armor mods are discounted.
  • Authorized Mods: Strand – Armor energy costs of all Strand armor mods are discounted.
  • Authorized Mods: Melee – Armor energy costs of all Melee armor mods are discounted.
  • Technicolor Siphon – Provides access to Helmet armor mods that combine the effects of the Strand Siphon and Arc Siphon mods.

Tier 3

  • Improved Unraveling – Increases damage dealt by unraveling an enemy.
  • Deeper Origins – Improves benefits provided by the Unsated Hunger, Nanotech Tracer Rockets, Harmonic Resonance, and Noble Deeds.
  • Unto the Breach – Defeating enemies affected by Void debuffs creates a Void Breach while equipped with the Void subclass.
  • Electric Armor – While you are equipped with the Arc subclass, your Amplified buff will last longer.
  • Thunderous Retort – Arc Supers do bonus damage if cast while critically wounded or while Amplified. (Lasts until the end of Super activation)

Tier 4

  • Strand Soldier – Strand weapons gain Unraveling Round when you gain Woven Mail when using the Strand subclass.
  • Overcharged Armory – Weapons that have Unsated Hunger, Nanotech Tracer Rockets, Harmonic Resonance, or Noble Deeds will always be overcharged.
  • Protective Breach – Gain or refresh your Overshield when picking up a Void Breach.
  • Counter Charge – Stunning champions will provide a stack of Armor Charges.
  • Amped Up – Gain damage resistance while Amplified.

Tier 5

  • Conductive Cosmic Needle – Targets affected by Strand debuffs will take increased damage from Arc and Void abilities.
  • Shock and Awe – Arc final blows while you are Amplified will summon a burst of lightning, which damages and jolts targets.
  • Supernova – Picking up a Void Breach causes your next source of Void damage to create a large weakening pulse.
  • Squad Goals – Performing a finisher while under the effects of Amplified, Woven Mail, or Devour will provide those buffs to your allies.
  • Lightning Strikes Twice – Throwing an Arc grenade will provide you with increased grenade recharge. (Arc final blows increase the duration of this boost)

Season of the Deep Artifact Bonus Levels

In Season of the Deep, your previous artifact will disappear and once you obtain the NPA Repulsion Regulator, you will be able to start leveling it up.

Once you gain levels, you will gain additional Power Levels that contribute to your Max Power Level until the end of the season.

This is a good way to boost the amount of damage you do and reduce how much damage you receive to take on more difficult activities and missions.
