Region Chests have always been something that Guardians would search for when it comes to new destinations, but the Pale Heart has a surprise for those who do this.
The Region Chests in the Pale Heart will reward you with random loot and reputation with Ghost but that’s not all, once you have opened all chests, you have a chance to get an Exotic Auto Rifle.
Searching for all of the chests may be tedious at times, which is why we have made this guide to help you find them faster.
The Landing Region Chest Locations
The Landing Has 3 different Region Chests in the area with each of them being slightly hidden but they are not that hard to reach.
1) The Landing Region Chest 1
The first region closest to the Last City can be found near the waterfall in The Landing within an old building embedded in a cliff.
You can reach this by jumping towards the cliff wall and using the rocks to reach an entrance around the middle of the building.
Once you reach the entrance, head inside and you will find the Region Chest at the back inside of a small room.
2) The Landing Region Chest 2
The next Region Chest in the Pale Heart can be found inside a cave, but many Guardians have often missed this due to it being underground.
If you head to the location of the Region Chest, you will find a large gap and if you look down, there will be rock platforms.
Jump to the rock platform at the bottom and you will find the Region Chest nearby, you can use the platforms to get out afterward or fast travel.
3) The Landing Region Chest 3
Our last Region Chest in The Landing can be found near the circular platform connected to two bridges around the northeast part of the area.
There will be a waterfall under one of the bridges and if you look closely, you will see that there is a waterfall around that you can stand on.
Head to the area above the waterfall and jump down and you will be able to go behind the waterfall where the Region Chest will be.
The Blooming Region Chest Locations
The Region Chests in The Blooming are some of the easiest to get as all you need to do is travel a bit from the fast travel point and move to their locations. (All may be found around the north)
1) The Blooming Region Chest 1
This is one of the easiest Region Chests that you can find in The Blooming, which you can reach by first fast traveling to the region.
Once you are in The Blooming, take the path either path (left is faster when facing north) and make your way around the back of the spawn point.
Once you pass through the passages, you will find the Region Chest on top of a ledge near one of the Witness-created hands.
2) The Blooming Region Chest 2
One of the easiest ways to find this Region Chest is to fast travel to the region and head to the marker on your map.
Search for the large red hands and look for the tallest tree near them, which will have one standing taller than the rest.
You will need to climb up to the very top of the large tree and on top of its branches, you will find a Region Chest.
3) The Blooming Region Chest 3
The last Region Chest that we went to turned out to be the easiest among the 3 that you can find in The Blooming.
All you need to do is travel along the cliff or simply head to the marked area and jump up the small cliff that has brightly colored plants.
Make your way up the small cliff and if you go around to the side, a Region Chest will be there in plain sight and up for grabs.
The Impasse Region Chest Locations
Searching for the Region Chests in The Impasse may be a little difficult if you don’t pay attention to your surroundings as they can be found in slightly hidden areas.
1) The Impasse Region Chest 1
The first Region Chest in The Impasse was an easy find, and this can be done by heading to the location of the chest marked on the map.
Once you are at the marked location, you will find a large gap that you can either jump across or run around to, and from here you will see the Region Chest.
You don’t have to cross the gap though and instead; you can carefully jump down to where there is space to walk and you will be near the Region Chest.
2) The Impasse Region Chest 2
One of the Region Chests can be seen from afar if you have been looking through your scope from the starting area in The Impasse.
If you head to the marked location, this will take you to a temple in The Impasse, which has several areas where you can climb.
Upon reaching the temple, you can climb to the top in any way that is convenient for you to get to the Region Chest.
3) The Impasse Region Chest 3
This Region Chest may be a bit tricky because it is found inside a cave with a small entrance that may be difficult to see from afar.
If you continue making your way south in The Impasse, you will go through a small canyon that will lead you to the cave entrance.
Once you have found the entrance to the cave, make your way inside and go to the end to find the Region Chest.
The Pale Heart Region Chest Rewards
After collecting all the Region Chests from The Landing, The Blooming, and The Impasse, the Gilded Treasure Triumph will be completed.
Additionally, collecting all the Region Chests in the Pale Heart will allow you to proceed with a set of secret tasks that later reward you with the Khvostov 7G-0X Exotic Auto Rifle.
Verdict
Opening Region Chests in the Pale Heart will provide you with Lost Encryption Bits, which are key items when it comes to obtaining the Khvostov 7G-0X Auto Rifle.
While finding these chests may not be as easy as they are in other destinations, taking your time to look around the area sometimes is enough to spot them.
Having your Ghost modified with the Wombo Detector mod does not seem to help with locating these chests, making it necessary to look around thoroughly.
