Destiny 2 Mission Dossier: Blade Logic Quest Walkthrough

Mission Dossier: Blade Logic is one of the Vengeance Quests that becomes available once you reach Quest Step 4 of Act III: Crossed Blades.

The Deputy Commander has tasked you with equipping yourself with a blade and to start hacking away at the Taken to make them fear guardians.

This enemy has continuously caused problems for Guardians and now it’s time for you to put them in their play by getting up close and personal.

How To Get Blade Logic Quest?

Once you have reached Quest Step 4, Mission Dossier: Blade Logic becomes one of the available Vengeance Quests. (There are 6 in total)

Vengeance Quests may be accepted from the Shaping Slab during and even after you have progressed Quest Step 4.

Blade Logic Quest Steps

Step 1: Take up a Sword or Glaive and defeat Taken forces anywhere in the system.

During this Quest Step, you will need to equip either a Sword or a Glaive and use the weapon to defeat Taken enemies anywhere in the system.

This includes enemies that you may encounter in activities or when roaming a destination and a total of 150 will need to be slain.

Defeating Taken with a Glaive’s ranged attack will count towards the objective, which makes this a more ideal weapon since you can attack as much as you want with its melee attack.

Step 2: Return to the Last City and debrief at the Shaping Slab.

After defeating 150 Taken combatants with a Sword or Glaive, you may now return to the Shaping Slab to claim your rewards.

Claiming your rewards from the Shaping Slab will complete the quest, which also provides you with the rewards for the quest.

Mission Dossier: Blade Logic Quest Rewards

Once you have defeated several enemies with a blade as instructed by the Deputy Commander, returning to the Shaping Slab will provide you with the following rewards:

  • Seasonal Gear (Common)
  • Sigil Shards
  • Essence of Desire

Verdict

The Taken can be quite the force to reckon with but with the combined efforts of the Guardians and the Vanguard, they can be put back into their place.

Utilizing blades such as a Sword or a Glaive can make short work of the Taken just like with other combatants due to their high damage.

Sometimes choosing a Glaive is better as you can use its melee attack without ammo unlike with Swords that require it.
