Destiny 2 Hyperreal G-Man Quest Steps (The Edge of Fate)

Ikora, Lodi, and Drifter have been working on a way to find certain Vex data spikes that seem to be located in different regions around Kepler.

While Ikora has been forwarding the coordinates of the Bex data spikes, Lodi has been bouncing signals off of them to help you track them down.

You will need to make use of the intel provided and locate all of the Vex data spikes to pull data from them, as this may turn out to be valuable.

How To Get Hyperreal G-Man Quest?

This quest becomes available after some progression has been made with The Edge of Fate campaign, which mainly involves completing the first two Strangelet Quests.

Hyperreal G-Man becomes available after completing the following quests from The Edge of Fate:

  • The Exile’s Accord Strangelet
  • The Central Academy Strangelet

Speaking to Ikora at Augur’s Bethel will start this quest.

Hyperreal G-Man Quest Steps (Objectives)

Step 1: Find Vex Data Spikes

After speaking to Ikora Rey, it will be revealed that there are 3 Vex Data Spikes that have been located, and you will need to find each one of them.

There will be a total of 3 different Vex Data Spikes that need to be found and interacted with before proceeding to the next quest step.

You will be able to find them by following the quest marker, which will lead you to the first, second, and third Data Spike.

This will bring you to the following locations:

  • First Data Spike – Augur’s Bethel
  • Second Data Spike –  Caldera
  • Third Data Spike – Caldera (Near Aionian Campus entrance)

Step 2: Answer Lodi’s Call

Now that the Vex lures are deciphered, Lodi is trying to contact you, which requires you to find a clear signal and answer his call.

Follow the quest marker to reach the location where the call will take place, and once you are in the area, you will be prompted with the “Answer Call” action.

Hyperreal G-Man Quest Rewards

After finding an area with a proper signal and contacting Lodi, the quest will end, and the following types of items will be rewarded:

  • Legendary Gear
  • Fated Cipher

Verdict

It seems that the Vex Data Spikes had some information that has turned out to be valuable, and with this set aside, you can proceed as normal.

Things seem to be a bit off with Lodi and Ikora Rey, and this seems too much of a concern to him, regardless of whether they had recently just met.

Something is giving off a hint that those who were “invited” to Kepler may not be a random pick, and Lodi appears to be hiding something.
