Episode Revenant has introduced Tonics to Destiny 2, which is a new feature that allows Guardians to brew tonics at The Last City’s Tonic Laboratory.
The Tonic Laboratory is unlocked during the earlier stages of the episode, and you will be able to unlock new recipes that require Reagents to make.
Obtaining all the Reagents that you need is easy if you know where to look, which is why we have prepared this guide for Guardians who need it.
How To Farm All Reagents?
Reclaimed Vitality
Reclaimed Vitality is often obtained as you fight your way through enemies and collect materials that you find at any destination.
Collecting Destination Materials will ground you Reclaimed Vitality while defeating several enemies will yield some as well.
The best way to farm Reclaimed Vitality along with other Reagents would be to focus on the other ones since you will eventually get Reclaimed Vitality as you defeat combatants.
Volatile Powder, Enriching Powder, and Volatile Flake
There is a good chance for you to obtain Volatile Power, Enriching Powder, and Volatile Flakes when you do Seasonal Activities such as Onslaught Playlist or Onslaught Salvation.
Volatile Powder and Enriching Powder will drop more often than Volatile Flakes do but you will eventually get a good amount if you do the Onslaught Activities.
Another way to obtain these 3 Reagents is to defeat combatants as there is a small chance for them to drop these randomly as well.
Enriching Flake
Enriching Flakes are exclusive drops that may only be obtained by running the Onslaught Salvation Activity, which can be accessed from The Last City.
Onslaught Salvation will put you through multiple waves and ends once you reach the 50th one, granting you a rewards chest every 10 chests and a bonus one on the last.
Each of the chests will grant you Enriching Flakes and even if you don’t succeed in the last wave, you will keep any Reagents that you have already collected.
Tomb Flake
Tomb Flakes are exclusive drops from the Tomb of Elders, which is an activity that was released in Episode Revenant Act II. (Reagent bundles may reward this too)
This puts you up against multiple challenges in an activity as you go from room to room to complete objectives and defeat bosses.
Another variant of the activity called Contest of Elders allows you to do even more challenges and you will obtain even more rewards for completing the activity.
Reflective Flake
Similar to Tomb Flakes, Reflective Flakes must be farmed in another method, unlike the other Reagents that you may collect.
Currently, Reflective Flakes are said to drop from the Kell’s Fall Exotic Mission, but this is unavailable at the moment and will be introduced in the later acts.
Tonic Reagent Sacks and Ingredient Bundles have a chance to drop these Reagents and are currently the main method of obtaining them for now.
THIS SECTION WILL BE UPDATED SOON WHEN THE ACTIVITY IS RELEASED
Volatile Nugget and Enriching Nugget
Volatile Nuggets and Enriching Nuggets are obtained from different sources throughout the system and have a good chance to drop at the end of activities.
The best way to get these however would be to Revenant activities such as Onslaught Playlist or Onslaught Salvation.
Higher difficulties of Episode Revenant activities provide the best chance for you to obtain these Reagents, especially Onslaught Salvation.
Tonic Reagent Sacks and Ingredient Bundles
Completing Minor Fieldwork from Apothecary Eido will reward you with Tonic Reagent Sacks, which provide you with different Reagents.
The same goes with Ingredient Bundles, which will have more Reagents depending on their size such as small or large ones.
Tonic Reagent Sacks and Ingredient Bundles are some of the best ways to get all the Reagents needed and will provide you with a good amount from time to time.
Dismantling Episode Revenant Gear
Another way for you to obtain Reagents is to Dismantle gear that you do not need as these can provide you with different Reagents.
This makes it even more worth it to farm some of the Seasonal Activities such as Tomb of Elders and Contest of Elders as you are bound to get materials and equipment.
Verdict
When it comes to farming specific Reagents such as Reflective Flake and Tomb Flake, you will want to do their activities when they become available.
The majority of the other Reagents are best farmed in the Onslaught activities, where Onslaught Salvation is considered more rewarding than Onslaught Playlist.
By completing multiple Revenant activities, you should easily be able to farm a lot of Reagents in no time to come back and mass-craft as many Tonics as you need.
