The Moon hides more than Lost Sectors and hidden secrets, as Sanctuary is also home to one of Destiny 2’s strangest mini-games.
The I’m Tired, Boss Triumph revolves around the Tire Game, challenging you to score or simply witness a perfect round while visiting the Moon.
Although luck plays a role, there are a few ways to improve your chances and complete this unusual Monument of Triumph objective.
How To Complete I’m Tired, Boss Triumph?
Travel to Sanctuary on the Moon, where you will find the Tire Game located near the landing zone beside the large yellow-and-black ramp.
Interact with the nearby terminal and spend 1,000 Glimmer to begin the Tire Game, causing three tires to roll down the ramp toward the scoring craters below.
To earn a perfect score, all three tires must land in the center crater, although the Triumph will also complete if another player achieves a perfect round while you are nearby.
If you are having trouble earning a perfect score, keep trying or wait for another Guardian to attempt the mini-game, as witnessing a successful run counts toward the Triumph as well.
Once a perfect round has been scored or witnessed, the I’m Tired, Boss Triumph will be completed, allowing you to return to the Monument of Triumph and claim your rewards
I’m Tired, Boss Triumph Rewards
Once you have scored or witnessed a perfect round of the Tire Game on the Moon, you can claim the I’m Tired, Boss Triumph from the Monument of Triumph for 15 Legendary Marks.
Tire Game Tips
Each Tire Game attempt costs 1,000 Glimmer, so do not be discouraged if it takes several tries before everything lines up perfectly.
Many Guardians use the well-known Sparrow method to make a perfect score more consistent, though repeated attempts with the normal mini-game can still get the job done.
If other players are gathered around the Tire Game, consider sticking around for a few minutes since witnessing someone else’s perfect round also satisfies the Triumph requirement.
The Sparrow Trick
One popular strategy used by many Guardians is the Sparrow trick, which can make earning a perfect score much easier than relying on the tires alone.
Drive your Sparrow into the center scoring crater and jump off just before it falls in, leaving it resting inside the hole where it counts as one successful score.
With your Sparrow already occupying the center crater, you only need two of the three tires to land in the middle to achieve a perfect round, giving you a much better chance of completing the Triumph.
I like this because it reads as a community tip instead of saying “this is exactly how Bungie intended it,” which is probably the right tone for an easter egg guide.
Verdict
The I’m Tired, Boss Triumph transforms an old Moon easter egg into a Monument of Triumph objective, giving Guardians another reason to revisit one of Destiny 2’s most memorable mini-games.
Whether you earn the perfect score yourself or watch another player pull it off, the experience is equal parts luck, patience, and entertainment.
After all, few Triumphs can claim that rolling three tires down a ramp is the hardest part of earning 15 Legendary Marks.
