The Vex are known for creating technology far beyond what most Guardians can fully understand, but occasionally you get the chance to turn their own weapons against them.
The Have You Lost Your Mind Triumph sends you into the Ancient’s Haunt Lost Sector on Nessus, where powerful Vex Craniums can be recovered from special enemies.
Using these devices to wipe out combatants is all that stands between you and another completed Monument of Triumph objective.
How To Complete Mine Now Triumph?
Head to the Ancient’s Haunt Lost Sector on Nessus and begin making your way through the activity until you encounter the first Quantum Minotaur.
Defeat the Quantum Minotaur and pick up the Vex Cranium that it drops, allowing you to wield the powerful Vex weapon for a short time.
Use the Vex Cranium’s beam attack to eliminate as many enemies as possible before it disappears, making progress toward the Triumph.
A second Quantum Minotaur appears later in the Lost Sector and will drop another Vex Cranium, giving you another chance to reach the objective.
Defeat a total of 20 enemies with Vex Craniums, and if you still need more defeats afterward, simply repeat the Lost Sector until the Triumph is complete
Mine Now Triumph Rewards
Once you have defeated 20 enemies with Vex Craniums in the Ancient’s Haunt Lost Sector, you can claim the Have You Lost Your Mind Triumph from the Monument of Triumph for 15 Legendary Marks.
Making The Most of Vex Craniums
Each Vex Cranium has limited energy, so avoid wasting its beam on isolated enemies whenever possible or make sure to conserve your shots.
Instead, wait for groups of combatants to gather before firing, allowing the beam to hit multiple targets and maximize every charge.
Since your progress carries over between runs, there is no pressure to earn all 20 defeats before leaving the Lost Sector.
Verdict
The Have You Lost Your Mind Triumph offers a fun opportunity to turn the Vex’s own technology against them, making it feel different from the usual combat-focused objectives.
Rather than relying on your favorite loadout, success comes from making the most of a weapon that only appears during this Lost Sector encounter.
It is a satisfying change of pace that rewards a bit of experimentation while adding another 15 Legendary Marks to your Monument of Triumph progress.
