Destiny 2 Fieldwork Guide (How to Unlock, Objectives & Rewards)

Destiny 2 Revenant has introduced a new set of quests that you may complete that provide you with Small Tonic Reagent Sacks. (Provides you with Reagents for Tonic Brewing)

Completing Minor Fieldworks will also unlock Major Fieldworks that you can complete later to earn even more rewards that help you progress.

Fieldworks may be completed as you progress through Destiny 2 Episode Revenant and will allow you to eventually brew more tonics.

How To Unlock Fieldworks?

The Fieldworks Subscreen may be accessed by speaking to Eido, which is possible once you have gone through the first mission in Episode Revenant. (Na- Veskirisk)

Na-Veskirisk ends up with the H.E.L.M. being destroyed, making your new base of operations The Last City where you will often interact with Eido throughout the episode.

Fieldwork Mechanics

Fieldworks require you to complete a set of tasks before returning to Eido to claim your rewards from the Fieldworks Subscreen.

These may differ from finding a mysterious object, defeating enemies, completing activities, and even doing missions.

Fieldworks act as quests that you may acquire from Eido, which give you a small set of Quest Steps that need to be completed before obtaining the reward for each Fieldwork.

All Minor Fieldwork has a set of tasks for you to complete, which involve collecting a Mysterious Object found within a marked area and an additional objective.

How To Unlock More Fieldworks?

Unlocking more Minor Fieldworks requires that you discover more Tonic Recipes, which can be done as you progress through the Episode Quests.

Major Fieldworks can be unlocked by completing more Minor Fieldworks, meaning you must prioritize the Episode Quests before progressing with these.

Key Fieldwork becomes available after the completion of Major Fieldwork, which makes the progression more of a chain once you finish the other types of Fieldwork.

Verdict

The Fieldworks feature is necessary to obtain better Tonic Recipes and so that you can gain more from them once you have unlocked the bonuses.

All the Fieldworks will eventually be available after you have progressed with the Episode Revenant Quests, allowing you to unlock more Tonic Recipes.

The Tonics that you may brew later can be a big help when it comes to progression as certain effects give you useful advantages.
