The Outer Steppes Strangelet Capsule has been located, and you will need to make your way to the source of the Altar of Relativity’s power to find it.
Something or someone is sabotaging the power, and it looks like you will need to take matters into your own hands if the Aionian Campus is to have power.
Because of this, not only will you be searching for the Strangelet Capsule, you will also need to restore power, or else your efforts will have been for nothing.
How To Get the Charge Mission?
The “Charge” mission is the final mission that you will be doing for The Outer Steppes Strangelet, a quest that is part of The Edge of Fate.
This mission becomes available once you have reached Quest Step 7 in “The Outer Steppes Strangelet” after speaking to Dr. Carnahan.
Charge Mission Walkthrough
Once the mission begins, follow the waypoint, and this will eventually have you jumping across a few gaps and crawling over a pipe through a tight space.
Keep following the waypoint until you reach the reactor, and once you arrive, there will be two pylons that need to be charged using Matterspark.
After charging the pylons, you may activate the reactor and continue by making your way to where the generator is. (Matterspark needs to go through a small entrance)
Upon reaching your destination, you will need to charge another 2 pylons in the area using Matterspark before activating the generator.
Make your way back to the reactor, and you will encounter the Reactor Saboteur, who is revealed to be the cause of the power issue.
Proceed with fighting the Master Technician (Reactor Saboteur) until its health has been reduced by a third before you activate the reactor.
Once this is done, you will need to make your way to a second and third generator and activate those as well before returning to the reactor.
The use of Matterspark, Mattermorph as well and Relocator will be needed to traverse a majority of these locations, which makes reaching each location a bit of a challenge.
Once the third generator has been activated, head back to the reactor, and the Master Technician will be there waiting.
The Master Technician will still be immune to damage, which requires you to proceed with defeating Overburdened Arc Keepers to get Arc Charges.
Each Arc Charge will need to be deposited, but to find the devices they will be deposited into, you will need to use Mattermorph to move objects around the reactor area.
Eventually, repeating these steps will allow you to defeat the Master Technician, which will now allow you to continue restoring power to the Aionian Campus.
Head to the marked location and interact with the nearby terminal to activate the reactor, and afterwards, you may pick up the Strangelet Capsule.
Once the reactor has been activated, a barrier blocking the Strangelet Capsule will be taken down, and you can grab it to complete the mission.
Charge Mission Rewards
While progressing through this mission, you will be able to defeat multiple enemies, and some of them tend to drop materials or equipment.
Completing this mission will provide you with the third Strangelet Capsule and will also conclude The Outer Steppes Strangelet quest.
Additionally, this will also unlock a Landing Zone in the Other Steppes.
Verdict
No wonder there has been a power issue at the Aionian Campus, a saboteur has been messing with the reactor and was left unnoticed.
Thanks to your efforts, the saboteur is no more, and another Strangelet Capsule has finally been found and may now be brought back to Caldera.
With the power now restored, taking the Strangelet Capsule back to Caldera will allow you to integrate it with the Altar of Relativity.
