Petalia Ignis (Location, Drops, Uses, Partner Skill & Work Suitability): Palworld

Grass attacks can be particularly troublesome when Ivy-Covered prevents you from moving freely, making protection against both the damage and status effect valuable.

Petalia Ignis brings a mix of healing and Grass resistance that can help keep you and your party in better shape during difficult encounters.

Its Fire typing also gives it a different offensive profile from the standard Petalia, while its wide range of base tasks makes it useful beyond combat.

Petalia Ignis Location

Petalia Ignis can be found around Alluvion Lakefront within the World Tree, usually appearing alongside its regular variant throughout the area.

Petalia Ignis Spawn Locations include:

  • -1585, 1521
  • -1659, 1503
  • -1694, 1522
  • -1728, 1518
  • -1716, 1574
  • -1744, 1585

Partner Skill

Passion of the Flower Spirit

Petalia Ignis’s Partner Skill is called Passion of the Flower Spirit, which can be activated to restore 80% of the player’s Health.

While in your party, you and your other Pals take 15% less Grass damage and become immune to Ivy-Covered.

The defensive effect remains active while Petalia Ignis is in your party, while the healing can be activated whenever you need a large burst of Health.

The Grass damage reduction and Ivy-Covered immunity do not stack if you have multiple Petalia Ignis in the same party.

Petalia Ignis Uses

Petalia Ignis is a useful support Pal when you want extra survivability against Grass enemies, especially when Ivy-Covered can interfere with your movement during combat.

Its active healing can restore a large portion of your Health at once, giving you an additional recovery option when you need to get back into a fight without relying entirely on healing items.

Its Grass/Fire typing also gives Petalia Ignis access to attacks from both elements, allowing you to build its active skills around whichever damage type suits your setup.

At your base, it can take on several different tasks, with Kindling and Medicine Production at Level 4 alongside Handiwork, Gathering, and Transporting.

Work Suitability

  • Kindling – Lv. 4
  • Handiwork – Lv. 3
  • Gathering – Lv. 3
  • Medicine Production – Lv. 4
  • Transporting – Lv. 2

Possible Drops

Petalia Ignis Drops

  • Beautiful Flower
  • Flame Organ

Verdict

Petalia Ignis gives you something that few support Pals can offer: a large on-demand heal combined with protection against a specific element and its associated status effect.

The Ivy-Covered immunity can be particularly useful when Grass attacks would otherwise leave you struggling to move, while the Grass damage reduction protects your entire party.

With its healing, defensive support, and multiple base skills, Petalia Ignis has plenty of value even when you are not specifically preparing for Grass-type enemies.
