Warframe: Pride (Scythe) (How To Get & Builds)

Pride is Sirius’ signature scythe, introduced with the Jade Shadows: Constellations update as one of the new weapons tied to the celestial brothers.

Its high Status Chance and unique Slam Attack mechanic allow it to build momentum quickly, making it effective at spreading Status Effects across groups of enemies.

Whether you focus on status application, critical hits, or a mix of both, Pride provides a flexible melee option that performs well in a variety of builds.

How To Get Pride?

Pride Main Blueprints and component blueprints may drop from The Kuva Wytch and Scoria’s Angel Railjack missions, allowing you to obtain the weapon through repeated runs of the new content.

In addition, the blueprints may also be purchased from Hunhow, with the Main Blueprint costing 90 Emerald Talents and each component blueprint costing 45 Emerald Talents.

A good approach is to farm the Railjack missions first, since you can obtain blueprint drops while earning Emerald Talents that can later be used to purchase any parts you are still missing.

Pride Unique Trait

Slam attacks with Pride grant 15% Status Chance for each enemy hit, with the bonus lasting for 10 seconds and refreshing whenever additional Slam Attacks connect.

This effect can stack up to 10 times, allowing Pride to reach a maximum of 150% increased Status Chance and making it much more effective at applying Status Effects during combat.

Pride Builds

1) Status Build

Our Status Build for Pride includes Volcanic Edge, Voltaic Strike, Virulent Scourge and Vicious Frost, which provide elemental damage and Status Chance.

Galvanized Elementalist has been added to increase Status Damage as well as increase Status Chance when you kill enemies.

This makes it easy to continuously inflict status effects upon your enemies, weakening them and even causing them to take damage over time depending on what elements you have set up.

2) Critical Build

Focusing mainly on dealing Critical Damage, this build includes Blood Rush to boost Critical Chance when your Combo Multiplier increases.

Thanks to this, your Critical Hits occur more often and with the additional mods in the build, Critical Damage is increased and you gain other increased stats such as range and attack speed.

This allows you to continuously strike at your enemies with Pride and if you are using a Warframe that has abilities that make the weapon even deadlier, your enemies won’t stand a chance.

3) Hybrid Build

A hybrid build can sometimes do wonders, especially if you have included Condition Overload, making this perfect for critical hits and status effects being utilized.

Blood Rush and Galvanized Steel help you get more Critical Hits while Violent Scourge and Voltaic Strike help with applying Status Effects, which allows you to deal more damage with Condition Overload.

You can swap out Primed Reach with Organ Shatter to further increase the damage your Critical Hits deal to your enemies, making this build adjustable when necessary.

Verdict

Pride rewards players who stay aggressive and make use of its Slam Attacks instead of relying entirely on standard melee combos.

Its unique trait allows the weapon to reach extremely high Status Chance values, making it easy to apply effects and take advantage of status-focused builds.

As Sirius’ signature weapon, Pride offers a strong balance of damage, utility, and build flexibility that makes it a solid choice for melee-focused players.
