Elemental Grenades can be some of the most useful items to have on hand when it comes to fighting certain Pals depending on their Elements.
These grenades function similarly but their effects will be different based on which Elemental Grenade you choose to use.
As you progress through the game, you will eventually be able to unlock and start crafting Elemental Grenades to use against your enemies.
How To Unlock Elemental Grenades?
Elemental Grenades may be unlocked once your character has started to gain more levels, and this allows you to unlock more as you become stronger.
To unlock Elemental Grenades, you will need to go into the Technology Menu and choose the Elemental Grenade that you want to unlock.
Unlocking an Elemental Grenade will cost you Technology Points and you should always save a few just in case you plan on unlocking more items later.
List of All Elemental Grenades
All Elemental Grenades have a base attack of 750 but depending on the element they have; the effects will vary and they may be more or less effective depending on your targets.
- Frag Grenade – Normal Damage (Unlocked at Level 25)
- Shock Grenade – Electric Damage (Unlocked at Level 27)
- Ice Grenade – Ice Damage (Unlocked at Level 29)
- Incendiary Grenade – Fire Damage (Unlocked at Level 31)
- Water Grenade -Water Damage (Unlocked at Level 33)
- Grass Grenade – Grass Damage (Unlocked at Level 35)
- Ground Grenade – Ground Damage (Unlocked at Level 38)
- Dark Grenade – Dark Damage (Unlocked at Level 40)
- Dragon Grenade – Dragon Damage (Unlocked at Level 42)
- Frag Grenade Mk2 – Normal Damage (Unlocked at Level 53)
While all the grenades have a base Attack of 750, the Frag Grenade Mk2 deals more damage as it has a base damage of 4000.
How To Craft Elemental Grenades?
Crafting Elemental Grenades begins as early as you craft a Weapon Workbench and may also be crafted at more advanced structures such as a Weapon Assembly Line.
When Crafting Elemental Grenades, you will require Fiber, Stone, and an item related to the type of Element your grenade will have.
An example would be Incendiary Grenades needing Fiber, Stone, and Flame Organs or a Grass Grenade requiring Fiber, Stone, and Wood.
You may craft Elemental Grenades by interacting with a Weapon Workbench or better and choosing which one you would like to craft. (Multiple of these may be crafted and Pals will help)
Verdict
Utilizing different Elemental Grenades can give you an advantage over enemies as certain elements will cause more damage than others depending on your targets.
Elemental Grenades are also useful for applying Status Conditions upon your enemies, which can make Pals easier to capture or give you an advantage in a fight.
As you progress through the game, you will be able to collect several resources and even farm them efficiently to give you a good supply of different Elemental Grenades.
