You previously experienced the reunion of Lorath and Tyrael and fought alongside one another against the Drowned during an ambush.
With Lorath injured, you had no choice but to retreat to the Athulua Garrison so that he could rest, but things are not yet over.
It seems the Drowned have begun to attack, and Tyrael suspects that this is because Mephisto knows of your plan and that you seek another part of the blade.
How To Get Wounded Souls Quest?
After the completion of the Threadbare Legacy quest, the Wounded Souls quest becomes the next one in line that you need to complete in the Lord of Hatred campaign.
You have recently reached the Athulua Garrison, and Lorath is safely resting, but the fight isn’t over as it seems that an ambush is at hand.
Wounded Souls Walkthrough
Once the quest has started, you will need to begin by speaking to Tyrael, which will result in you telling him about the blade, which explains why the Drowned attacked.
Tyrael suggests that you speak with the Amazons to learn more about the location of the next piece of the blade, and he heads over to them.
Head over to the Amazon Captains and once they are done bickering amongst themselves, interact with them to begin a dialogue with them.
Your conversation will be interrupted as the Northeast Wall is attacked, which requires that you and Tyrael head over to fight against the attackers.
Several enemies will appear inside of the Athulua Garrison, and you will need to fight them all off until they are cleared out.
The fight does not end here, though; it appears that the Amazon Siege Towers are also under siege, and you will need to help defend them.
There will be a total of 3 Siege Towers nearby, and each of them will have a certain amount of enemies attacking, which you must clear out.
After clearing the third Siege Tower, the Southern Gate will be under attack, and this time a statue called the Seasborn Goddess will be inside the garrison.
Destroy the statue and slay the creature “Teeveja Boltcrawler” that appears, leaving the rest of the enemies needing to be cleared before the quest ends.
Wounded Souls Quest Rewards
After defeating the Seaborn Goddess and the remaining Drowned enemies, the quest will come to an end, and your next quest will be the Scattered to the Winds quest.
In addition to the next quest being unlocked, you also receive:

Verdict
After regrouping at the Athulua Garrison, Lorath is left to recover while you and Tyrael seek answers from the Amazon captains about the next step.
Tensions rise among the captains as they argue over whether to hold their ground or push forward, but the decision is forced upon them as the Drowned launch another assault.
With the garrison under heavy attack, you and Tyrael manage to hold the line and successfully defend it, securing the area for now as the conflict continues.
