Diablo 4: The Queen and the Saint Quest Walkthrough

You have just made your way out of the Temis Sewers, and your encounter with the Hand of Akarat has proven that things are getting worse in the region.

While you have managed to do a bit of investigating on your own, Lorath seems to be nowhere to be found at the moment.

A meeting is taking place in the Plaza of Queens, and while waiting for Lorath to appear, observing what events transpire may prove to be meaningful.

How To Get the Queen and the Saint Quest?

The Queen and the Saint become your main quest right after the completion of the Subterranean Secrets quest, which is completed after exiting the Temis Sewers.

The Queen and the Saint Quest Walkthrough

At the start of the quest, you will need to interact with the steps that lead to the Plaza Overlook, and this begins a cutscene.

During the cutscene, Lorath is seen approaching Queen Adreona, and as they speak, Mephisto begins to play mind games with him, resulting in Lorath slicing her throat.

Akarat (Mephisto) resurrects her and suggests mercy towards Lorath, making it even more convincing that he is a benevolent being.

Lorath is escorted out by the guards, and you are to follow as he takes what would appear as a walk of shame, where the other people around throw objects at him.

The walk may take a while, and once he is at the exit, you may speak with him to begin another cutscene, which explains what has transpired.

Once the cutscene has finished, you will find yourself back in Temis, and the quest will be completed at this point.

The Queen and the Saint Quest Rewards

After the cutscene finishes, you gain the What’s Yet Unseen quest as well as a Feature Quest that introduces the fishing mechanics in the game.

In addition to the next quest being unlocked, you also receive:

  • XP
  • Gold

Verdict

What should have been a warning turns into a disaster as Mephisto gets into Lorath’s head, causing him to strike Queen Adreona instead.

The clean cut across her throat only makes things worse, and Mephisto uses the moment to his advantage by resurrecting her through Akarat to appear merciful and in control.

With Lorath exiled and his actions turned against him, you’re left with fewer allies than expected as Mephisto tightens his grip on everything around you.
