Recently you had just had a taste of power after collecting a Mother’s Gift but now you need more if you are to deal with the Triune heretics.
After being taught by Istel how to obtain Mother’s Gifts, you were successful in gathering a large amount of them since you last met.
Now it is time to head to Itsel and see what she has in store for you and what plans will be made next to help you gain more power.

- Return to Istel in Zarbinzet
- Speak to Istel
- Clear The Omath Breach
The Past Behind Us Quest Walkthrough
After obtaining 15 Mother’s Gifts from the previous quest, you will need to make your way back to Istel and speak with her regarding what to do next.
Istel will send you off to one of the Hellbreach Dungeons called The Omath Breach and you will need to head to its location and enter it.
She will mention Omath’s Redoubt but this is not to be confused with the Level 45 Stronghold and instead, you will go to the Hellbreach (The Omath Breach) to the east of the Stronghold.
Once you have made your way into The Omath Breach, you will need to fight your way past enemies that you encounter in the dungeon as you make your way to the end.
This gives you an introduction to how Hellbreaches work, which requires you to collect Aether to use as a reward at the end when a Hell Caller is killed.
Continue with progressing through The Omath Breach until the Hell Caller is defeated and you will then need to return to Itsel to complete the quest.
The Past Behind Us Quest Rewards
Once you have defeated the Hell Caller, you will complete The Omath Breach and The Past Behind Us quest, which will reward you with the following:
- Herb Cache
- Random Gear
Verdict
Even at a lower level, the Hell Caller and the other challenges in a Hellbreach may feel a bit difficult and this may require you to prepare for tougher challenges.
Itsel is surprised with how quickly you have gained more power and see your potential but when it comes to the real enemies, you will need help.
After seeing what you have done, Itsel believes you are ready and has decided to join you to kill some heretics and take their power.
