Diablo 4 Gold Well Spent Quest Walkthrough

A man named Meros had a previous arrangement that went bad with a ruffian named Luskas who extorted him for protection.

Meros has revealed where Luskas has camped and has requested that you find the gemstones that were stolen and bring them back.

You will need to find the ruffian and most likely kill him to take back what belongs to Meros by first locating his camp.

How To Get Gold Well Spent Quest?

The Gold Well Spent Side Quest can be obtained by reaching Menestad and is often found after you have completed the Menestad Coffers quest.

You will need to speak with Meros, who is located near the Stostya the Healer and once spoken with, Meros will give you the side quest.

1) Get the Payment of Gemstones from Luskas

You will need to head to Luskas’ Camp and will be able to find him in the area marked on your map but he won’t be hostile until you speak with him.

After speaking with Luskas where you tell him you have come for Meros’ gemstones, he will become hostile towards you.

You will have to kill Luskan, and once he has been slain, the Payment of Gemstones will drop and you will need to pick them up.

2) Return to Meros

Once you have taken the Payment of Gemstones, head back to Meros in Menestad and speak with him to complete the quest.

Gold Well Spent Rewards

The Gold Well Spent quest ends after you have spoken to Talgun the Merchant Lord and you will be rewarded with the following:

  • XP
  • Gold
  • 20 Fractured Peaks Renown
  • 1 Herb Cache

Verdict

It seems that the man named Meros had initially put his trust in the wrong person to protect him as this ended up with him being stolen from.

Luckily, you were in town to retrieve the Payment of Gemstones and took down one of the more terrible humans that might have other potential victims.

By returning the Payment of Gemstones, you have not only helped Meros but also gained his trust since you didn’t run off with them.
