There are many ways for Druids to build up Fortify and once this happens, they can benefit from several Aspects but one of these targets their Core Skills.
Since Core Skills are important, being able to deal additional damage with them can be a big help when it comes to taking on enemies that you encounter.
This is where the Aspect of Retaliation comes in as it provides you with additional damage based on your amount of Fortify.

With the Aspect of Retaliation, your Core Skill will deal up a certain amount of increased damage based on how much Fortify you have.
This means that the higher your Fortify, the more bonus damage your Core Skill will deal when you use them on your enemies.

Aspect of Retaliation is unlocked by defeating the boss at the end of the Seaside Descent, which is located in the Kotama Grasslands west of Ked Bardu. (Dry Steppes)
How To Get Aspect of Retaliation? (Seaside Descent Walkthrough)
1) Slay all enemies in the Secluded Grotto
You will be in the Secluded Grotto once you enter the Seaside Descent, which is where you will need to clear out all of the enemies. (Marked by red dots on the map)
2) Travel to the Murky Depths
Once all of the enemies have been cleared out, a nearby barrier will be dispelled and you can now make your way to the next area.
3) Slay the Avaricious Captains
While you are in the Murky Depths, you will need to search for 2 Avaricious Captains and will need to slay them to proceed to the next area.
4) Slay the Avaricious Captains
While you are in the Murky Depths, you will need to search for 2 Avaricious Captains and will need to slay them to proceed to the next area.
5) Activate the Gate Release
Now that the Avaricious Captains are slain, you will need to head over and interact with the Gate Release to open the Gate near it.
6) Travel to the Lost Hoard
Once the Gate has been opened, you will need to proceed to the Lost Hoard, where you will find multiple Corpse Piles.
7) Destroy the Corpse Pile
There will be 3 Corpse Piles in the area and all of these need to be destroyed for you to complete the dungeon.
