When Season 8: Belial’s Return was released, several players began targeting the many endgame ladder bosses for not only loot but to also obtain Boss Powers.
With several bosses already in the game as well as the new Lair Boss Rework, you will want to know which bosses to fight first as well as where they can be found.
Since bosses are spread out into 3 different tiers, we have put together a list of the different bosses and the locations where you can challenge them.
Initiate Lair Boss Locations
1) Beast in The Ice (Glacial Fissure)
You may challenge the Beast in the Ice inside the Glacial Fissure, which can be found in the Desolate Highlands in the Fractured Peaks.
(Required Lair Key: 12 Distilled Fear)
2) Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint (Hall of the Penitent)
Grigoire, The Galvanic Saint may be summoned in the Hall of the Penitent, located in the Dindai Flats within the Dry Steppes.
(Required Lair Key: 12 Living Steel)
3) Lord Zir (Ancient’s Seat)
Lord Zir can be found in the Ancient’s Seat but this is not shown on your map and instead, you need to make your way to The Darkened Way.
Once you have entered The Darkened Way, you will be able to find the Ancient’s Seat within this area.

4) Varshan (Malignant Burrow)
The Malignant Burrow is where Varshan may be fought and is located next to the Tree of Whispers found within The Writhing Mire.
(Required Lair Key: 12 Malignant Heart)
5) Urivar (Fields of Judgement)
Urivar is encountered in the Fields of Judgement, which can be found in the Teganze Plateau within the Nahantu region.
(Required Lair Key: 12 Judicator’s Mask)

Greater Lair Boss Locations
1) Andariel (Hangman’s Hall)
Andariel can be summoned inside the Hanged Man’s Hall, which is a Boss Liar found in Kehjistan around the Scouring Sands to the east of Tarsarak.

2) Duriel (Gaping Crevasse)
Entering the Gaping Crevasse located in the Southern Expanse within the region of Kehjistan will allow you to challenge Duriel.
(Required Lair Key: 3 Shard of Agony)
3) Harbinger of Hatred (Harbinger’s Den)
The Harbinger of Hatred can be summoned inside of the Harbinger’s Den, which is found within the region of Nahantu in the Lingering Hatred near the Kurast Docks.
(Required Lair Key: 3 Abhorrent Heart)
Exalted Lair Boss Locations
Belial, Lord of Lies (Palace of the Deceiver)
Belial, Lord of Lies may be summoned and challenged in the Palace of the Deceiver, which is located in the Amber Sands of Kehjistan. (To the west of Tarsarak)
(Required Lair Key: 2 Betrayer’s Husk)
Verdict
Each Lair Boss Hoard Chest will require specific Lair Boss Keys to open and you can see which ones are needed by viewing the dungeon on your map or checking the Hoard.
As you progress through the season, you will be able to collect Lair Boss Keys and use them to challenge each of the bosses, allowing you to get more keys to higher-tier bosses.
Lair Boss Dungeons and Lair Boss Keys become available in Torment I and are more difficult in higher tiers but this also means you get better rewards.
