Following the discovery of the Ullo Sar’s plans, you now need to investigate further by checking out the Ruptures that have been appearing across Sanctuary.
With the Helltide Zones as your best lead, you must look further into these Ruptures and put a stop to what the Death Cult has started.
While it seems the Ullo Sar have not done that much, it is soon to be discovered that if their plans are not stopped, chaos may seep into Sanctuary.
How To Get Across the Threshold Quest?
“Across the Threshold” seasonal quest becomes available after the completion of the “Sins of the Ullo Sar” seasonal quest.
You obtain the quest after closing your first Rupture that appeared in the Helltides and later speaking to Dannica about it in Zarbinzet.
Across the Threshold Walkthrough
Head to a Realmwalker activity (we found ours in the Fields of Desecration) and wait for it to begin, which requires fighting off enemies and staying in marked areas to expand the ritual circles.
Once this has been successfully done and the event continues, a Realmwalker will appear, and you will need to defeat it while also evading its deadly attacks.
After defeating the Realmwalker, a portal to a Deathtoll Chamber will appear, and to continue, you will need to enter it.
You will need to complete the Deathtoll Chamber, which requires you to first interact with the Deathtoll Pillar and start fighting off the enemies that spawn in the area.
After completing the Deathtoll Chamber, make your way back to Zarbinzet and speak with Dannica, who presumes the Ullo Sar are trying to connect Sanctuary and Pandemonium.
Dannica instructs you to continue with what you are doing while she keeps looking for answers, which starts a pause for the questline until you reach Torment I. (Quest ends here)
Across the Threshold Quest Rewards
Completing “Across the Threshold” will provide you with a new quest called “Rising Tide, Setting Sun,” which requires you to progress further to continue with the seasonal questline.
Verdict
The deeper you push into the Ruptures, the clearer it becomes that the Ullo Sar are pursuing something far more dangerous than simply spreading their beliefs.
Evidence gathered from the Realmwalker and the Deathtoll Chamber leads Dannica to suspect the cult is attempting to tear open the boundary between Sanctuary and Pandemonium.
With the trail growing colder for the moment, the investigation pauses until you become strong enough to face the greater dangers that lie ahead.
