Unlike most materials that you can farm, these can only be obtained through Seasonal Challenges and should be kept for later as their use is still hidden.
Each week, a new source for Curio of the Nine becomes available and you should avoid discarding them as you won’t be able to get them back.
How To Get Curio of The Nine?
Curio of The Nine can be obtained from the Episode: Heresy Seasonal Challenges, which provides you with multiple challenges to complete each week.
There will be a limited amount of Curio of The Nine that can be obtained from each set of Weekly Challenges from specific ones that you complete.
The following Seasonal Challenges will reward you with Curio of The Nine:
- Nether Power (Week 1)
- Frozen Weave (Week 2)
- Dreadnaught Secrets (Week 3)
- Minor Blessings Aplenty (Week 4)
- Beat Back the Nether (Week 5)
- Dreadnaught Challengers (Week 6)
- It’s Only Sword Logical (Week 7)
- Rapid Court of Blades (Week 8)
- Court of Blade Orbs (Week 9)
- Fusion or Trace Rifle Final Blows (Week 10)
- Abilities Slayer (Week 11)
- Total Corruption (Week 12)
To get Curio of The Nine from a Weekly Challenge, make sure that it is complete, and you can claim it by selecting the challenge that rewards it.
Curio of The Nine Uses
Currently, the description of this material mentions that “The Nine do not wish to reveal the purpose for seeking your favor yet…” and this may hint that its use will be revealed later.
Additionally, it is also mentioned in the description that the item does not currently appear to have a purpose and that you should guard it with your life as it cannot be required if discarded.
It is possible that as the episode progresses, the uses for Curio of The Nine materials may be revealed later on and obtaining them each week might be a good idea.

Destiny 2 has a good way of rewarding Guardians who tend to complete as much as possible and those who obtain a Curio of Nine from each week may be up for a surprise.
There is currently no hint for this material, and it might just be a good idea to grab them in advance just in case they become important in the upcoming weeks.
