The Dreadnaught is a location that was reintroduced in Episode: Heresy, which used to be the flagship of Oryx the Taken King.
Originally commanded by Oryx, the ship set out to exact vengeance upon the Guardian for slaying his son Crota, but things didn’t go as well as planned.
You now return to the ship, which is now twisted by the Echo of Navigation, and need to explore and suppress the ship in any way that you can.
All Dreadnaught Locations in The Nether
The Mausoleum
Once a sacred site for Hive rituals, the Mausoleum was where Oryx would issue his decrees and oversee the transformation of his warriors.
The Mausoleum has been corrupted by the Taken and some Hive have even been seen wandering the area, attacking anything they consider as a target.
The final boss in this area is Kelrosh, Spawn Keeper a Taken Ogre that needs to be weakened, and Taken Clusters must be destroyed before finishing him off.
Trenchway
The Trenchway was once a key passage used by the Hive to quickly maneuver between the Dreadnaught’s critical areas.
Over time, it became twisted by the Taken, turning into a dangerous maze of dark energy and corrupted paths that reflect the Hive’s lost purpose.
The final boss in the Trenchway, Lezrel, Eversion Channeler is a Tormentor that relentlessly chases you, and summons healers that need to be defeated.
Hall of Souls
The Hall of Souls was once a place of sacred Hive rituals where the Hive’s greatest warriors were honored but after the defeat of the Taken King, things changed.
No longer a noble place for Hive warriors, the Hall of Souls is now filled with Taken and Hive combatants who ambush anyone unlucky enough to be found.
The final boss is a Subjugator called Herald of the Weapon, who spawns Husks to heal him when he is immune to damage and once they are defeated, he becomes vulnerable.
The Founts
These dark pools were once used by the Hive to incubate and empower their warriors, drawing from the depths of Hive magic.
This is one of the locations that you head to reforge Willbreaker, which plays an important role in defeating the Echo of Navigation.
Hashon of Endless Horrors is the final boss in The Founts, who becomes immune during the fight until you destroy the Taken Orbs that he spawns.
Hull Breach
The Hull Breach is a section of the Dreadnaught that has been massively damaged, which is now a main access point for those who wish to enter the ship.
Both Hive and Taken have been seen in this location and aside from the enemy forces present, more secrets are yet to be discovered. (This location was added in Act III)
The final boss in Hull Breach is Irkaril of Xivu Arath, who becomes protected when his Grafted of Xivu (Ogres) are still alive. (Take them out to make him vulnerable)

How To Choose Location?
Unfortunately, there is no option to choose where you will spawn in The Nether as this is randomized and you will appear in one of the 5 different sections.
One way to start in a section that you prefer is to run The Nether and if you do not spawn in the area you want, you may start the activity again.
Doing this will allow you to start where you choose randomly but the rest of the sections that you may progress to will also be randomized as well.
How To Move to Other Locations?
Once you spawn in a certain section of the Dreadnaught, you will need to complete 3 objectives before defeating a final boss.
After the boss has been defeated, you will be able to proceed to the next section of the Dreadnaught, but this will still be random.
The location you need to head to will be shown on your radar or when Ghost is summoned, and the path will no longer be blocked.
Verdict
The Nether can provide you with a lot of rewards once you get the hang of the activity, especially if you memorize where to go for objectives.
Additionally, knowing where the collectibles, secrets and more can be found will allow you to easily progress through the activity and reap a lot of rewards.
When venturing into the Dreadnaught, keep in mind that healing is low, and you will need to be resourceful to survive with the limited number of lives you have.
