Fire-type Pals can bring serious pressure to combat, especially when Burn is added to your own attacks instead of relying entirely on your active Pal.
Renjishi also brings some impressive Work Suitabilities to the table, giving it plenty to do at your base once you are finished taking it into battle.
With its high Kindling and strong secondary work skills, this is a Pal that can remain useful well beyond its role as a World Tree Field Boss.
Renjishi Location
Renjishi can only be encountered as a Level 78 Field Alpha Boss in the World Tree, with its fixed encounter located at -1590, 1580 in the northeast section of the region.
Partner Skill
Stage Combat
With Renjishi in your party, your attacks gain Burn buildup, giving your weapons a way to apply the status while you fight.
The effect starts at Burn 2 and can reach Burn 6 when fully upgraded, with higher levels making your attacks build toward Burn more quickly.
This means you can trigger Burn more consistently through your own attacks, adding damage over time without relying solely on Renjishi’s active skills.
The effect does not stack, so bringing multiple Renjishi into the same party will not increase the Burn buildup further.
Renjishi Uses
Renjishi is a good pick for players who want their weapons to contribute more than direct damage, giving your attacks a reliable way to build Burn during combat.
Once Burn is applied, the enemy continues taking damage over time, making the effect useful for wearing down tougher targets while you continue attacking.
Its Fire typing also gives Renjishi access to Fire-based attacks, allowing it to deal its own elemental damage while your weapons build the status.
At your base, Renjishi can take on several different tasks, making it useful for handling Kindling, Handiwork, Gathering, and Transporting when you are not taking it into combat.

Verdict
Renjishi gives your weapons an additional way to pressure enemies by building Burn while you fight, making it useful for players who enjoy status-focused combat.
Its fixed Field Boss encounter also makes it a worthwhile target if you are looking to add another Fire Pal to your collection for late-game battles.
With Kindling 8 and three other Work Suitabilities, Renjishi can also transition into a highly capable base worker when you are not using it in combat.
