Different resources become available as you continue exploring, and upon reaching Sunreach, one of the rarest and most valuable ores can finally be obtained.
Soralite exists only within the floating islands of Sunreach and is required for crafting many of the advanced structures, weapons, and equipment that define Palworld’s late game progression.
Although repeatedly travelling to Sunreach may become tedious, there are multiple ways to obtain Soralite, including producing it from the comfort of your own base.
How To Get Soralite?
1) Mine From Soralite Nodes
Several Soralite Nodes can be found throughout Sunreach, easily identified by their glowing rocky surface surrounded by clusters of bright crystals.
Soralite Nodes can only be mined with a Plasma Multicutter, which becomes available at Level 54 and is required to harvest this valuable ore.
When mining Soralite, simply striking the node is not enough, as each deposit has a glowing weak point that must be targeted to deal proper damage.
Aim directly at the highlighted section of the node, otherwise each hit will only deal minimal damage, making the mining process much slower than it needs to be.
2) Producing From Soralite Quarry
The Soralite Quarry is one of the best long term ways to obtain Soralite, removing the need to repeatedly travel back to Sunreach whenever you run low on the resource.
Once you reach Level 72, you can unlock the Soralite Quarry and build one after gathering 100 Soralite along with its other required materials.
After constructing the quarry, simply assign Pals with Mining Work Suitability, who will automatically produce Soralite whenever they work at the structure.
Soralite Uses
Soralite is mainly used to create Soralite Ingot, a refined material required for crafting some of the most advanced weapons and structures available later in Palworld.
Soralite Ingots are used for powerful weapons like the Mechanical Bow, Combat SMG, Prototype Shotgun, Heavy Assault Rifle, and other high damage additions to your arsenal.
Beyond weapons, Soralite Ingots are also required for Ancient Structure Sets, including foundations and structures like the Ancient Kitchen, Ancient Work Bench, and Ancient Monitoring Stand.
Because many of these recipes belong to the later stages of progression, having a reliable supply of Soralite will make it much easier to craft new equipment and expand your base.
Verdict
Soralite may seem like a difficult material to obtain at first, especially when you first reach Sunreach and need to search for its rare deposits while surviving powerful Pals and other enemies.
Once you unlock the Plasma Multicutter, collecting Soralite becomes much faster, and setting up a Soralite Quarry will eventually remove the need to constantly mine it yourself.
With a reliable supply available, you’ll be able to focus on crafting advanced weapons, Ancient Structures, and the equipment needed for the later stages of Palworld.
