The Kuva Wytch is one of the new missions introduced with the Jade Shadows: Constellations update, taking players on a unique Railjack adventure alongside Ryoku.
Unlike traditional Railjack missions, this one combines space combat, on-foot objectives, and a story-driven confrontation that eventually leads to a battle against Vena.
In addition to progressing the Sirius & Orion storyline, The Kuva Wytch serves as one of the main sources for Warframe, weapons, and Arcane blueprints tied to the update.
How To Start The Kuva Wytch?
There are two ways for you to start The Kuva Wytch, and this can be done from the Navigation Menu, where you access the Uranus Proxima, or from the Pontis Tower.
Selecting the mission directly from the Uranus Proxima will start the mission with you using Ryoku’s Railjack, which is called Santovan’s Oath.
Starting the mission from the Pontis Tower will allow you to choose whether you will use Ryoku’s Railjack or if you would like to use your own.
The Kuva Wytch, as well as the Pontis Tower, requires that you complete the Jade Shadows: Constellations quest before they can be accessed.
The Kuva Wytch Walkthrough
Start by making your way to the asteroid field, and eventually you will reach a large captured asteroid, which you must now destroy.
Upon destroying the asteroid, the asteroid’s core will be left behind, and you will need to approach it with the Railjack to collect it.
The asteroid core will be in the back of the ship once collected, and you will need to approach it, which causes it to burst and unleash Infested enemies.
Defeat all of the enemies that have come out of the asteroid core, and after that, you will need to head back up to continue piloting the Railjack.
Proceed with destroying a certain number of fighters in the area before making your way to the shattered moon, which will be marked with a waypoint.
Within the shattered moon, there will be Corpus Mining Turrets stationed in certain areas, and you must destroy all of these before you may proceed.
Once the Corpus Mining Turrets have been destroyed, there will be multiple Ice Blocks covering the entrance to the Comet Mine, which you must now destroy.
To do this, access the Forward Artillery and use it to fire a powerful blast at each of the Ice Blocks and continue by moving towards the entrance.
Unlock the doors by hacking them, and proceed within the Comet Mine, and there will be multiple Corpus units as well as Golden Maws in the area.
Eliminate all of the Golden Maws while surviving the attacks from the Corpus enemies so that you can make your way to the next area.
Proceed by making your way to the vault, and as you head to the marked area, several enemies will appear, and you will need to clear them out.
Once you reach the Vault, a Mawbound Director and other enemies will appear, which requires that you defeat them.
After defeating all of the enemies, grab the artifact, and this will change the scene where you and Ryoku will be riding an Orowyrm.
The Orowyrm will eventually dash towards Vena’s ship, which starts the assault as you and Ryoku both fight your way to reach his target.
Once you are aboard the ship, make your way towards the waypoint, which will lead you to a room where you need to defeat a Bloodfrenzy Sister before heading to Vena.
The fight with Vena has 3 phases, and each of them allows her to replenish her life while she gets deadlier each time you take out her health.
Continue fighting her until her health is gone, which will cause enemies to appear in the area, and this causes Dread Mirror Clones to appear.
Defeat the clones and continue fighting her again, which will cause binds to appear nearby, which you will need to destroy before destroying a final one that is holding Ryoku.
Once Ryoku is free, the two of you must now defeat Vena in her final form, and once this is done, you will return to the Railjack, and the mission will be complete.

Verdict
The Kuva Wytch offers a good mix of Railjack combat and traditional gameplay, making it feel more engaging than many standard missions found in Uranus Proxima.
Its mechanics are easy to understand after a few runs, allowing players to focus on farming rewards rather than learning complicated objectives.
Whether you are after Sirius & Orion parts, Pride blueprints, or the new Arcanes, this mission is one you will likely revisit many times.
