Warframe: Synapse Builds

Synapse is a decent weapon when it comes to dealing continuous damage to targets, and it can quickly take down most enemies once it has been fully equipped with mods.

What makes Synapse a decent weapon for taking out targets is its bonus damage when you deal headshots, giving you a lot of options when it comes to builds.

Both an accurate and deadly weapon, Synapse can be built for destroying single targets and even bosses or modified to quickly take out groups of enemies.

Warframe Synapse Builds

1) Critical Build

Taking advantage of the weapon’s unique trait that boosts headshot damage, we have added mods to Synapse that focus on Critical Chance and Critical Damage.

Along with this build is a Galvanized Chamber for Multishot, and to make things even deadlier, we have added Heavy Caliber and two Elemental Mods.

If you want to go without the reduced accuracy from Heavy Caliber, you can always substitute the mod for another one that further improves the build towards your playstyle.

2) Headshot Build

Since the Synapse gives a hint that headshots are a key part of using the weapon, we make use of the Galvanized Scope, which works well with headshots.

Added to the build are Critical Delay for Critical Chance, while Hammer Shot and Vital Sense increase the Critical Damage of this weapon.

Primary Acuity has been added to the build, which increases Weak Point Damage by an insane amount, making it perfect for headshots. (Primary Acuity disables Multishot)

3) Status Build

With Synapse capable of dealing continuous damage to enemies, this provides a good chance for you to apply Status Effects and even use the weapon to prime enemies.

With 4 Elemental Damage and Status Mods, we improve both the damage of the weapon as well as the Status Chance to easily inflict Status Effects upon enemies.

Galvanized Aptitude has been added to the build, which increases direct damage to enemies based on how many Status Effects they suffer from.

4) Combustion Build

While some may suggest that Synapse is good for single targets, you can modify this weapon to also target groups of enemies by adding Combustion Beam to the build.

For this, we utilized the Elemental Damage and Status Mods for damage and the bonus of having a higher Status Chance when attacking enemies.

Sinister Reach has been added to the build for more range, while Combustion Beam causes enemies to explode and deal damage in an area around them when killed.

Verdict

The Synapse is a strong beam weapon that rewards precision, especially when taking advantage of its bonus headshot damage against tougher enemies.

It works best with critical or hybrid builds, allowing it to scale well while maintaining consistent damage through sustained fire.

With the right setup and accurate aim, it becomes a reliable choice for quickly eliminating priority targets in higher-level missions.
