A Crusher is a useful structure to have in your base, especially when you need to make use of the excess Stone and other materials that you have collected.
There is however an upgraded version of the structure called the Refrigerated Crusher, which works similarly but has more options.
Unlike the standard Crusher, this one operates faster and requires an Ice Pal instead of a Water Pal to produce items.
How To Unlock and Build Refrigerated Crusher?
Upon reaching Level 52, the Refrigerated Crusher will be available in your Technology Menu and may be unlocked using 2 Technology Points.
Once the Refrigerated Crusher has been unlocked, you may find it in the Production section of your Build Menu.
Building the Refrigerated Crusher will require the following materials:
- 50 Pal Metal Ingot
- 30 Plasteel
- 50 Ice Organ
Refrigerated Crusher Uses
The Refrigerated Crusher provides you with the same crafting recipes that are available in the standard Crusher but with even more options.
In addition to this, instead of using a Water Pal for this structure, you need to assign an Ice Pal to work at the Refrigerated Crusher. (Electricity is also required)

Crusher vs Refrigerated Crusher
Having a Refrigerated Crusher will allow you to utilize Ice Pals in more than one way, which would be to focus on crafting when it isn’t cooling any other structures.
The Refrigerated Crusher produces faster than the standard Crusher, making it a better option for mass-producing items in the late game.
While the Refrigerated Crusher is a good choice and technological advancement, some may prefer to use the Standard one thanks to the many uses of Water Pals in a base.
Verdict
Since the Refrigerated Crusher is unlockable during the later phases of the game, you will most likely have to resort to a standard Crusher until you reach Level 52 and above.
The Crusher and Refrigerated Crusher have similar crafting recipes, making it ideal to have at least one of them to craft items, mainly Paldium Fragments from Stone.
It is a good idea to make sure your base has enough power by having a Power Generator and some Accumulators.
