Providing your base with electricity is important once you have progressed in the game as this will allow you to use certain structures.
While the use of a Power Generator or Large Power Generator allows you to supply your base with electricity to run, having The Accumulator will provide you with backup power.
The Accumulator is a structure that was added in the Feybreak Update, which allows you to store excess electricity from a generator to use.
How To Unlock And Build The Accumulator?
You may unlock The Accumulator once your character is at least Level 37, and this follows shortly after unlocking the Power Generator at Level 26.
Once you have unlocked The Accumulator from your Technology Menu, you may begin building one by choosing it from the Infrastructure Section of your Build Menu.
Building The Accumulator will cost the following materials:
- 50 Ingot
- 20 Electric Organ
The Accumulator Uses
The Accumulator is a structure that can be used to store excess electricity, which is power provided after your Power Generator is full.
This will provide you with more electricity to use if your Power Generator does not provide enough and may be an option as a backup.
It is possible to build more than one of these structures, which will give you even more extra power before you run out if your Power Generator is insufficient.
How To Store Electricity?
Once a Power Generator or Large Power Generator has 100% Power Capacity, Electric Pals may continue interacting with them to store electricity in The Accumulator.
At 100% Power Capacity, any excess electricity from a generator will automatically go to The Accumulator until it reaches 100% Power Capacity.
This will be the same for any other instances of this structure that you will have, allowing you to eventually fill all of them up for later use.
Having at least one Electric Pal that provides electricity may be enough to power up all The Accumulators that you have in your base as long as you don’t over consume electricity.
Verdict
The Accumulator can be built more than once and when there are multiple of them in your base, all of them will gain electricity at the same time when your generator is full.
Using The Accumulator is a good way to have a backup power source when you attempt to use structures that use more power than your generator can provide.
Regardless of where you build this structure, it will always obtain electricity if it is within the range of your Palbox.
