Destiny 2’s Monument of Triumph includes objectives that encourage players to interact with Public Events in ways they may have never considered before.

During this phase, one of the vents on the side of the Injection Rig will open, exposing it for a short time and allowing it to be damaged.
Quickly move beneath the shield and destroy the exposed vent before the heat damage becomes overwhelming, then retreat back to safety.

Once you have destroyed one of the Injection Rig’s exposed vents during the Public Event, you can claim the Vent Core: Frog Blasted Triumph from the Monument of Triumph for 15 Legendary Marks.
Destroying Injection Rig Vents
The vents only become vulnerable during the heat venting phases of the Public Event, so you will need to wait until one opens before attempting to destroy it.
Since the shielded area deals continuous damage while the vents are exposed, it is best to quickly enter, destroy the vent, and leave before your health is depleted.
High-damage weapons can destroy a vent much faster, reducing the amount of time you need to spend inside the hazardous area.

The Vent Core: Frog Blasted Triumph rewards players for paying attention to one of the Cabal Injection Rig’s overlooked mechanics instead of simply rushing through the event.
