You previously followed the trail that seemed to be created by Lilith, which led you to a Cradle of the Eye, and this can be used to meet her once more.
After placing the Sightless Eye on the cradle, you now have a chance to continue where the two of you were interrupted.
Now you must peer once more into the Sightless Eye and find Lilith so that she can help you find a way to put a stop to Mephisto’s reign.
How To Get What Was Given Quest?
What Was Given is the next quest that you receive after the completion of the previous quest called Along the Crimson Trail.
The previous quest had you following Blood Petals left as a trail from Lilith that led you to a Cradle of the Eye that would allow you to reach her after placing the Sightless Eye.
What Was Given Walkthrough
You start by interacting with the Sightless Eye, which brings you back into The Mind’s Eye, where you will need to search for Lilith.
Upon moving to the south, Lilith will appear, and you may immediately speak to her, which later leads to you exploring The Mind’s Eye while interacting with several Fragments of Memory.
Continue exploring the area as Lilith follows you to learn more about a blade that can later be used to banish Mephisto to the Void, if you can manage to find and repair it.
The majority of this quest will have you traversing The Mind’s Eye until you finally catch up with Lilith, who is currently being hunted by Mephisto.
After exploring, interacting with Fragments of Memory, and speaking to Lilith one last time, your path becomes clear, and the search for the blade begins. (Quest ends after speaking to Lilith)

Speaking to Lilith at the end of the path will result in the quest ending, which starts a new quest called Mother’s Guidance.
