Warframe: Perigale Prime (How To Get & Builds)

Hunting down enemies becomes far more satisfying when you can eliminate them from a distance, picking them off one by one before they even have a chance to react.

Perigale Prime leans into that kind of playstyle, rewarding precision and patience by turning accurate shots into steady, reliable damage against tougher targets.

With its improved Prime stats, it becomes even more effective at maintaining pressure from afar, letting you control engagements while staying out of danger.

How To Get Perigale Prime?

Perigale Prime is obtained by collecting its blueprint and components from specific Void Relics, which are earned through various mission types across the Star Chart.

Perigale Prime Relics include the following:

  • Main Blueprint – Meso L4
  • Barrel Blueprint – Neo P10
  • Receiver Blueprint – Lith C14
  • Stock Blueprint – Axi C11

Alternatively, it can be acquired instantly through the Market via Prime Access if you prefer to skip the farming process entirely.

Perigale Prime Stats

Perigale Prime improves on the base weapon with better overall performance, making it more effective in sustained engagements where accuracy and consistency matter.

It maintains its identity as a precision rifle, focusing on strong critical potential and controlled firing rather than high fire rate or crowd clearing.

Its unique Trait (Gale Force) causes Headshot Kills or landing 4 Headshots in a single burst to grant +100% Ammo Efficiency for 4 seconds. (+24 Ammo Max when used by Voruna)

Perigale Prime Builds

1) Critical Build

Perigale Prime features a high base Critical Chance, making Critical Chance & Damage Mods effective for this weapon if you want to optimize damage.

Critical Delay increases the Critical Chance of the weapon, while Vital Sense and Hammer Shot further increase the Critical Damage when hits land.

Speed Trigger has been added to the build for a faster Rate of Fire while Galvanized Chamber adds Multishot to the build for even more damage.

2) Headshot Build

Sticking with a focus on Critical Chance and Critical Damage, we utilize the Critical Mods from the previous build but swap in Galvanized Scope and Primary Acuity.

Galvanized Scope increases Critical Chance when you score headshots, while Primary Acuity increases the damage to enemies when you hit their weak points.

Speed Trigger and Shred have been added for an increased Rate of Fire so that you can continuously fire at your enemies to deal more damage in a short period.

3) Status Build

While Critical Builds work effectively on Perigale Prime, a Status Build can also do wonders, especially with the weapon’s burst fire feature.

Continuous shots from the Perigale Prime will apply Status Effects to enemies easily, making them more susceptible to damage or weakening them depending on what elements you have.

This can be used to apply Status Effects or to effectively take down enemies with continuous fire, especially when you score multiple headshots.

4) Hybrid Build

A combination of both Critical and Status Mods can be effective when it comes to taking out targets, which is where the Hybrid Build comes into play.

Combining Critical Mods (Vital Sense and Critical Delay) along with the Status Mods in the previous build, we create a way to deal damage to enemies with multiple sources.

Enemies will be affected by Status Effects and can later be finished off with continuous shots that will most likely score Critical hits.

Verdict

Perigale Prime is a great pick if you enjoy a more controlled and precise playstyle, where landing your shots matters more than just firing as fast as possible.

It really shines when you take your time, line up your shots properly, and focus on taking down key targets without wasting ammo or breaking your rhythm.

It might not feel as strong in fast or chaotic fights, but once you get used to it, it becomes a very reliable weapon that rewards patience and clean accuracy.
