Warframe: Sarofang Prime (How To Get & Builds)

Sometimes you just want to get up close and tear through enemies instead of picking them off from a distance, and that is exactly where Sarofang Prime shines.

It delivers heavy, deliberate swings that hit hard, rewarding you for staying aggressive and committing to each strike instead of backing off.

With strong critical stats and a focus on Slash damage, it becomes a weapon that can cut through tougher enemies while still feeling smooth and responsive in melee combat.

How To Get Sarofang Prime?

Sarofang Prime is crafted after obtaining its Blueprint, Blade, and Handle from their respective Void Relics opened in Void Fissure missions.

Sarofang Prime Relics include the following:

  • Main Blueprint – Meso E7
  • Blade – Axi S20
  • Handle – Neo S20

You may also obtain Sarofang Prime instantly through Prime Access if you want to skip farming and get it right away.

Sarofang Prime Stats

Sarofang Prime leans heavily into Slash damage with strong critical chance and an especially high critical multiplier, making it very effective at dealing consistent damage and applying bleed to tougher enemies.

One of its standout traits is its Heavy Slam Attack, which creates a vortex that pulls in nearby lifted enemies when you reach an 8x combo multiplier, giving it some built-in crowd control.

If you are using it with Voruna, this effect becomes easier to trigger since it only requires a 5x combo multiplier, letting you activate the pull more often during fights.

Sarofang Prime Builds

1) Critical Build

Our Sarofang Prime Critical Build features the necessary Critical Mods needed to boost both Critical Chance and Critical Damage for a higher damage output.

Blood Rush is important for the build to increase Critical Chance based on your Combo Meter, while Berserker Fury has been added for more Attack Speed.

Making this build even more deadlier, we have added Condition Overload, which allows you to deal more damage based on the number of Status Effects your enemies are suffering from.

2) Status Build

Status Effects can sometimes make enemies easier to kill or disrupt their capabilities in a fight, which makes this build quite effective when you need to inflict debuffs.

Condition Overload has also been added to this build since the Status Chance of the build has been increased to 102%, and this guarantees that enemies will be affected after a few hits.

Galvanized Elementalist has been added to the build to increase Status Damage and increase Status Chance when you kill enemies.

3) Hybrid Build

Combining both the Critical Build and Status Build, we get the best from both of these play styles, providing you with a good chance to deal Critical Damage and inflict Status Effects.

We retain Blood Rush, Galvanized Steel, and Organ Shatter for Critical Damage and add two Elemental Damage and Status Mods for their damage type and more Status Chance.

In addition to these mods, Condition Overload is also added, making this highly effective if you have another weapon to apply multiple Status Effects to your enemies.

Verdict

Sarofang Prime is built for players who want melee that hits hard and keeps pressure on enemies instead of just swinging for damage numbers.

It stands out most when you stay aggressive, build combo steadily, and let its crit-heavy Slash focus do the work over time.

Once you get into its rhythm, it becomes a reliable heavy blade that clears fights quickly while still having enough utility to control groups when your combo is up.
